I combined the 2 typical desserts of this period, the ZEPPOLA and the MIMOSA CAKE making this wonderful MIMOSA ZEPPOLONE!
It’s really nice to see but even better to eat, I love choux pastry and combined with the cream even more!
Do it again for both Women’s Day and Father’s Day, everyone will like it!
INGREDIENTS:
FOR THE CHOUX PASTE:
200ml Water
130g Flour
100g Butter
3/4 eggs
1 teaspoon Sugar
A pinch of salt
vanilla
200 g Whipping cream (fresh or sweetened vegetable)
500 g Custard π
Cherries in syrup
4 ladyfingers biscuits
Giallo liqueur (witch type)
powdered sugar
