An unexpected visitor was spotted clinging to a metal post by the side of the highway
That was a sloth! Local police captured the long-limbed adventurer in Quevedo, Ecuador.
After being picked up by Ecuadorian traffic officers, the sloth was taken to the vet in one of the cutest rescue missions ever.
They took him back to the forest near where he was found after he appeared to be in reasonable health.
The officers took pictures and uploaded them to Facebook so that we could enjoy them.
